Meet the Team
Rhiannon
Rhian is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and has been working in practice for twenty years. In that time, she has had to count heifers, value billiard tables and audit investments in Bermuda. Rhian leads the firm’s delivery of tax, accounts and audit services. She also knows about starting a company from scratch, running a firm and the joys and stresses of growing a business and so she can fully understand the issues facing your business. As a local girl, Rhian made a deliberate choice in setting up in Blackwood, believing that there is a lot of potential in the Valleys and by bringing her skills and experience together with that entrepreneurial drive, she can make a real contribution to the local economy. Rhiannon is married to Paul and they have two children together. In her spare time, Rhiannon enjoys spending time with her family.

Paul
Paul, by contrast, has worked mostly in big organisations across central government and blue chip financial services, defence and media organisations. Now working with Rhian, Paul has added complementary business management services to the firm’s portfolio including start up advice, business planning, process review, management accounts and reporting. Paul enjoys football and supports his hometown team Portsmouth. Father of five(!) Paul’s favourite time of the year is the annual family holiday where everyone heads to France.
Kerri
Kerri is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, as well as an associate director of Stanford Williams. Kerri has made a great contribution to Stanford Williams, bringing years of experience of working with a variety of client types. Kerri heads up our High Street Accountant services. She is well versed in all areas, including payroll, self-assessment, CIS and limited companies. She is friendly, approachable and on the ball. Kerri is married with two boys and spends her weekends standing at the side lines supporting the boys at football.
Lucy
Lucy is our Accounts Manager and has achieved a DipHE in Professional Accounting. She is currently sitting her final exams with ACCA, and will qualify as a Chartered Certified Accountant later in the year. She joined the team in 2017 and in this time has gained an in-depth knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation. Every day is different and Lucy loves being kept on her toes. In her spare time (after studying) Lucy enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring new cultures across the world.
Emily
Emily is our Payroll Manager. Since joining us from school in 2018, Emily has built an excellent understanding of what being an accountant entails. Emily’s been exposed to most areas of the business over the past 4 years and has specialised in the payroll side of the firm for the past 2 years. Now that furlough has finished and she’s finishing off her AAT, Emily will be moving away from payroll to concentrate on developing her accounts skills, ready for starting ACCA in September. Emily will continue to oversee and manage payroll, assisting Ellie with her training. Emily is a fluent Welsh speaker and is happy to provide you our services in Welsh. Outside of the office Emily enjoys sports and especially motorsports. She’s quite the petrolhead!
Ellie
Ellie is a trainee accountant who joined us in August 2021. Having already completed AAT level 2, Ellie is a great addition to the team and is currently progressing very well through level 3. Since joining Ellie has received training in payroll and bookkeeping and had exposure to interacting with clients. Ellie’s aim is to study ACCA after AAT and eventually become a Chartered Accountant. After work and college Ellie enjoys walking, spending time with family and being by the sea!
